The meme is not a recent discovery. It is a word that became a part of literary usage in the earlier 70s era. According to Merriam Webster’s dictionary, they are originally known as the cultural units of transfer and with the passage of time, flourished into some ideas that catch on and pass between people via culture.

Today, however, the definition of it has evolved so much that the word itself has become an epitome of creative ideas. People today think of it as more than just a word and several images sprung in front of our eyes the moment we start talking about memes or the so-called ‘meme culture.
